Fairy House

While in Boston, we saw these cool fairy houses. I wanted to buy one, but mom said "pssp...you could totally make one." SO as soon as we got back, we spent about the same money on supplies as one cost in Boston, and a blistered finger (glue gun) and some weeks later, TADA! A fairy house is hanging in Addie's room. She sings to it sometimes, and asks the fairies to come and play...(Don't tell her therapist this!)

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin' Carvin'

For Addie's B-Day we have a contest carving Pumpkins. Addie chose the winner, Dad gave out cash prices. Morgan won (he promised Addie 1/100th of his winnings, we are sit waiting!)

So many toys, so little patience

Addie got some really cool things. An elephant that swings girls up onto her back (thanks granny shanny and papa ray) The NEW tinker bell movie, this is where the patience comes in watching it for the umpteenth time! (thanks uncle morgan and aunt lacie) An awesome book that I use to remind addie of her manners, if she becomes demanding I say "okay, bossy bear" and she immediately says please or thank you (Thanks Grandma Barb) and some great kitty's from the Wallace clan! Not to mention the card she carried around all day that was a fairy and had butterfly stickers on the envelop that by the time we got to work were all over her face (THanks aunt Ashley and Uncle Brian!) IT was a great day for her.

Birthday cake...drama?

Addie and I went to pick out a cake a week before her b-day! At the store they had this really neat princess cake that looked like a castle with all the disney princess's on it! So we looked at it and Addie seemed excited. So I got the lady at the bakery and she asked Addie what cake she wanted, Addie said "umm.....that one!" and she pointed to a plain white sheet cake in the display case. So for the next 10 mins. we argued (addie and I) about the cake. I tried everything to get her to get the castle cake, including bribbery (I know I should have been happy that she chose a cheap cake.) SO we ended up compromising on a sheet cake with little mermaid decor.

Happy Birthday Addie!

Addie is now three! She had a great day! And her mom would like to thank her wonderful family for making it soo! She is my princess fairy baby girl! FOREVER!

Lizzie or Addie?

We went to the new Lizzie Bourdon Museum in Salem. Interesting to see something that you had seen on A&E up close. Anyway, Addie was bored out of her mind, so in the crime scene room she decided to lay down...in the crime scene tape...Thanks goodness Dad was there to remove her from the musuem! I about killed her, for reals! and mom couldn't stop laughing!

Da Girls

Addie loved hanging out (and on!) Mackenzie. I think Mackenzie liked it too until Addie almost pee'd on her.

Yaya Sisterhood of the Witches

Here are our matching 'T's

New Witch's In Town

Salem was my favorite thing. The psychology and human/mob/group think behind the witch trials is amazing. Since we have been back, I have read two books on the trials and have three more I would like to read. One woman related it to the "Mormons in Texas."

Boston Trip

Recently went to Boston to visit Ashley and Brian. It was so fun! Autumn was a great time to visit. We also got to see Mikey and Mackenzie. Great kids. My favorite part was visiting Salem during the Halloween season. Addie and I got "real" witches hats and all us girls got matching T's that read "Are you a good witch (front), or a bad witch (back). Good times good times!

This is Addie and Ashley at one of Ash's favorite eating spots. It is called the Barking Crab. (Mom called it the Crusty Crotch, or something like that, ask Brian. We laughed about it all week!)
