Merry Christmas Mom!

This is what Addie got me for Christmas this year! It is the heart of our home!

Addie's First Dentist Visit

Addie's first visit was friday, and she did great! Although she has TWO! cavitites and the making of another one! She also keep asking for more strawberry toothpaste!

Addie Made Christmas Treats

I got some easy chex mix and peppermint bark recipes and Addie made come Christmas Treats for her teachers and neighbors. She has also decide to give TWO of her gifts from under the tree to needy kids. Now I just need to find a place to drop them off!

Addie and Friends!

Bowling with Darrell

TuTu's

This is the tutu that I made for my friend's daughter. Addie is modeling it for ya!

Fairy House

While in Boston, we saw these cool fairy houses. I wanted to buy one, but mom said "pssp...you could totally make one." SO as soon as we got back, we spent about the same money on supplies as one cost in Boston, and a blistered finger (glue gun) and some weeks later, TADA! A fairy house is hanging in Addie's room. She sings to it sometimes, and asks the fairies to come and play...(Don't tell her therapist this!)

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin' Carvin'

For Addie's B-Day we have a contest carving Pumpkins. Addie chose the winner, Dad gave out cash prices. Morgan won (he promised Addie 1/100th of his winnings, we are sit waiting!)

So many toys, so little patience

Addie got some really cool things. An elephant that swings girls up onto her back (thanks granny shanny and papa ray) The NEW tinker bell movie, this is where the patience comes in watching it for the umpteenth time! (thanks uncle morgan and aunt lacie) An awesome book that I use to remind addie of her manners, if she becomes demanding I say "okay, bossy bear" and she immediately says please or thank you (Thanks Grandma Barb) and some great kitty's from the Wallace clan! Not to mention the card she carried around all day that was a fairy and had butterfly stickers on the envelop that by the time we got to work were all over her face (THanks aunt Ashley and Uncle Brian!) IT was a great day for her.

Birthday cake...drama?

Addie and I went to pick out a cake a week before her b-day! At the store they had this really neat princess cake that looked like a castle with all the disney princess's on it! So we looked at it and Addie seemed excited. So I got the lady at the bakery and she asked Addie what cake she wanted, Addie said "umm.....that one!" and she pointed to a plain white sheet cake in the display case. So for the next 10 mins. we argued (addie and I) about the cake. I tried everything to get her to get the castle cake, including bribbery (I know I should have been happy that she chose a cheap cake.) SO we ended up compromising on a sheet cake with little mermaid decor.

Happy Birthday Addie!

Addie is now three! She had a great day! And her mom would like to thank her wonderful family for making it soo! She is my princess fairy baby girl! FOREVER!

Lizzie or Addie?

We went to the new Lizzie Bourdon Museum in Salem. Interesting to see something that you had seen on A&E up close. Anyway, Addie was bored out of her mind, so in the crime scene room she decided to lay down...in the crime scene tape...Thanks goodness Dad was there to remove her from the musuem! I about killed her, for reals! and mom couldn't stop laughing!

Da Girls

Addie loved hanging out (and on!) Mackenzie. I think Mackenzie liked it too until Addie almost pee'd on her.

Yaya Sisterhood of the Witches

Here are our matching 'T's

New Witch's In Town

Salem was my favorite thing. The psychology and human/mob/group think behind the witch trials is amazing. Since we have been back, I have read two books on the trials and have three more I would like to read. One woman related it to the "Mormons in Texas."

Boston Trip

Recently went to Boston to visit Ashley and Brian. It was so fun! Autumn was a great time to visit. We also got to see Mikey and Mackenzie. Great kids. My favorite part was visiting Salem during the Halloween season. Addie and I got "real" witches hats and all us girls got matching T's that read "Are you a good witch (front), or a bad witch (back). Good times good times!

This is Addie and Ashley at one of Ash's favorite eating spots. It is called the Barking Crab. (Mom called it the Crusty Crotch, or something like that, ask Brian. We laughed about it all week!)

Addie's summer olympics!

Addie had her summer olympics. She was really excited, due to watching some of the "real" olympics on tv. She survived the entire ordeal with only one time out and a child landing on her head in the foam pit. She is a tough cookie (in more ways than one!) But she is my champion and shinning star. I am one proud momma!

New Hair Do!

So, it was this or a tattoo, I decided on a new hair do. Yes I finally cut off the hair. Addie came with me (and mom too!) Addie held my hand and told me, "Don't be scared mommy, I here." I am donating the lovely locks to locks of love, after dad is done with it!

HAPPY JULY 4th!!!

Addie and I had a happy and relatively quiet July 4th. We actually watched fireworks on the 3rd, she was also in the daycare parade that day too! For the 4th, we lit off fireworks and ate pizza. Addie was so excited for her fireworks, then after about the first two, she was done. LOL She is getting so sassy and smart. Libby, Larry, and Adah came for a visit the next week and Addie had so much fun with her cousins! She is still talking about her "best friends" Libby and Larry!

Addie, our little Mermaid! She got a new pool. A little mermaid pool. We set it up on Saturday, and she had a great time! In and out, in and out. While she swam, I tinkered with sprinklers and pulled weeds, by the time we went in, Addie was crying to stay out longer, and I was sick with heat stroke. Saturday nite (or sunday morning) about 2am, I heard the wind blowing and woke up in a panic "Addie's pool is blowing away!" So I threw on my robe and some shoes and got to chase it down in our back acreage! good times, good times. It has been so hot here, and we have no trees for shade, only one little fan, that we try not to stay home, but got shopping or go for a soda, just so we can be in airconditioning. FORGET CLEANING AND COOKING! HA!

Blueberry Warning!!!!

So, since our church isn't until one in the afternoon, Addie and I are becoming breakfast conisures and try something new for breakfast each Sunday. This Sunday we decided to try fresh blueberry pancakes! (Broulims is having a great sale on their fresh berries by the way!) So, the pancakes looked great, but as I began to cut into Addies pancake for her we found out a blueberry warning. Once cooked the berries become bigger and full, hence when you cut them they exploded staining and hot berry juice! INCOMING! At first Addie thought it was funny, until some juice exploded onto her bare chest! OUCHIE! Addie quickly turned anti-blueberries. So we wanted to spread the word! Be adventurous, but careful!

Here kitty, kitty, kitty....

so, I gave birth to a kitty. Addie, now for about 80% of the time, speaks cat. She can even be understood sometimes because she will use the right inflexions. It can be frustrating, but I just keep telling myself "quench not the spirit." I took her to the zoo today with mom, and she was not impressed. She was like, "next." Then cried to go home...what can a mom do? She is really enjoying laying on the front steps with Kali. No wonder this ward seems so standoffish! But we are enjoying being together, and I really enjoy the fun and lessons Addie brings to me! MEOW!

Memorial Day

Addie and I drove to Inkom (after gathering the "Laretta Essentials" : acid, scrub brush, trimming shears, carpet cutter, water, broom and of course flowers.) There were already alot of flowers there, especially on grandma and grandpa whitworths grave. It was raining, good thing addie brought her dora umbrella. So, we cleaned and addie collected pinecones to put on the grave along with a flag for grandpa larry and a ladybug bell for grandma Laretta. (She also went and collected a few things from some other graves!!! while I was not looking!)...We said a prayer, and afterwards addie asked my why I was crying, and I said, "because I miss grandma Laretta." and she said,"It's okay mommy, don't cry, Grandma Laretta will be back soon." I love that girl! I just wanted everyone to know that Grandma (and Grandpa, although I don't think he cares as much as Grandma) was taken care of! I love ya guys!

THE LATEST!~Addie'isms

So, Addie came running into the bathroom (where I was indispose) and told me someone was at the front door. Not having many visitors, I quickly ran out and to my surprise....No one was there. So I turned and told Addie,"There is noone there?!?! You are lying." To which she quickly retorted, "I am not a lion, I am a kitty!"

Da Crew at Gymnastics

It is rare but exciting for Addie to see her cousins from Pasco, WA! So this last visit, addie invited them to join her in one of her favorite activites, GYMNASTICS! I believe we found some hidden talents of the Monkey Family! (or maybe not so hidden?)

This is addie chillin' in Mesquite at Mom and Dads. She is a maniac when it comes to swimming (just ask those who have taken her.) She believes she IS the little mermaid and can swim by herself!

Bud and Addie at her Winter Olympics! I think Bud was surprised at how much of a workout I get from going with her to gymnastics! Morgan is always a big help and support to both me and addison!

So summer begins?

The kids are getting out of school, addie and I are getting ready to start our summer schedule. We will be working three days a week, 10hr. days. I felt this was a good choice, so we could then have four FULL days to spend together.

The weather here has been nuts. I have no idea how to dress addie, it will be raining in the morning so I will put her in jeans, then by the afternoon, it is 80 outside. The next day I will dress her summery, it is looking warm, then it snows in the afternoon! A styling mother's nightmare!
