Memorial Day

Addie and I drove to Inkom (after gathering the "Laretta Essentials" : acid, scrub brush, trimming shears, carpet cutter, water, broom and of course flowers.) There were already alot of flowers there, especially on grandma and grandpa whitworths grave. It was raining, good thing addie brought her dora umbrella. So, we cleaned and addie collected pinecones to put on the grave along with a flag for grandpa larry and a ladybug bell for grandma Laretta. (She also went and collected a few things from some other graves!!! while I was not looking!)...We said a prayer, and afterwards addie asked my why I was crying, and I said, "because I miss grandma Laretta." and she said,"It's okay mommy, don't cry, Grandma Laretta will be back soon." I love that girl! I just wanted everyone to know that Grandma (and Grandpa, although I don't think he cares as much as Grandma) was taken care of! I love ya guys!

THE LATEST!~Addie'isms

So, Addie came running into the bathroom (where I was indispose) and told me someone was at the front door. Not having many visitors, I quickly ran out and to my surprise....No one was there. So I turned and told Addie,"There is noone there?!?! You are lying." To which she quickly retorted, "I am not a lion, I am a kitty!"

Da Crew at Gymnastics

It is rare but exciting for Addie to see her cousins from Pasco, WA! So this last visit, addie invited them to join her in one of her favorite activites, GYMNASTICS! I believe we found some hidden talents of the Monkey Family! (or maybe not so hidden?)

This is addie chillin' in Mesquite at Mom and Dads. She is a maniac when it comes to swimming (just ask those who have taken her.) She believes she IS the little mermaid and can swim by herself!

Bud and Addie at her Winter Olympics! I think Bud was surprised at how much of a workout I get from going with her to gymnastics! Morgan is always a big help and support to both me and addison!

So summer begins?

The kids are getting out of school, addie and I are getting ready to start our summer schedule. We will be working three days a week, 10hr. days. I felt this was a good choice, so we could then have four FULL days to spend together.

The weather here has been nuts. I have no idea how to dress addie, it will be raining in the morning so I will put her in jeans, then by the afternoon, it is 80 outside. The next day I will dress her summery, it is looking warm, then it snows in the afternoon! A styling mother's nightmare!
